Content Manager’s Daily Workflow with DoBoard

I couldn’t help but wonder…

If social media is the wild love affair of modern work, maybe DoBoard is the stable partner who brings snacks and remembers your deadlines.

Because being in social media management (SMM) isn’t just about cute captions and pretty filters. It’s real work — planning, edits, meetings, approvals, last-minute changes because “the client just had a new idea.”

I started 10 years ago with one Instagram page and a head full of ideas. Since then, everything’s changed — the apps, the algorithms, even how people scroll. But one thing stayed the same: if you don’t post today, someone else will. And they might just steal your audience.

Here’s a typical day in content management with DoBoard:

Step 1: Structuring the Content Plan

7:00–8:00 AM: Wake up, check email for any fire drills. Coffee (strong), feed the dog, wake the kids. Try to remember where I left my phone. Scroll a little. Just enough to feel like I know what’s going on.

8:00–10:00 AM: Look through client accounts. Good ideas go straight into DoBoard — my digital brain. Check email again, see task updates. DoBoard sends everything there, so I don’t have to open a million tabs.

Step 2: Organizing the Team’s Workflow

10:00–12:00 PM: Team meeting. We talk about what’s done, what’s not, and what’s maybe falling apart a little. We write everything down in DoBoard, or else we’ll forget it 10 minutes later. Late breakfast (probably toast). Check in on my own stuff — blog, Instagram, ideas I might post when I have 5 spare minutes (which never actually happen).

Step 3: Quality Control

1:00–3:00 PM: Video shoot with a client. I help organize, keep the energy up, and make sure nobody blinks in the best take. Lunch and planning. Talk with copywriters, videographers, designers. Update tasks, reply to comments — all in DoBoard. No mess, no stress.

So, what changed when I switched to DoBoard?

  • I stopped losing tasks in the abyss of 47 open tabs

  • I started actually meeting deadlines

  • I drank less coffee (well, slightly less)

  • And I even considered starting a DoBoard for my 10-year-old. She already runs the house like a small agency anyway

If you’re in social media and still juggling sticky notes, screenshots, and group chats from three platforms ago…
Maybe it’s time you give the chaotic romance a break. Let DoBoard be your steady partner in crime. One who never forgets a task, doesn’t ghost you, and won’t post cringe on main.
